Down here in the Lower Keys, available land to build on is very scarce. Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys also focuses on creating decent, affordable homes for low-income families by renovating or preserving existing homes.
Our Home Repair programs range in scale — from purchasing and renovating homes to be sold to partner families through affordable no-interest mortgages, to repairing storm damage sustained to homes owned by low-income families or seniors.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Do you or someone you know need help with minor home repair? We may be able to help.
Habitat for Humanity of Key West & Lower Florida Keys has grant-funded programs to help Lower Keys homeowners* make necessary repairs to their property.
*To qualify for home repair assistance you must own your home and it must be located in the Lower Keys, between Big Pine Key and Key West. Income verification may be required.
