Become involved in shaping our impact on the Lower Keys community by choosing to serve on a committee that matches your interests and/or expertise.
Our Construction/Building Committee manages the affiliate’s construction and repair program and helps educate partner families about construction and home maintenance.
The Faith Relations Committee cultivates relationships engaging all local faith communities in Habitat’s ministry.
Our Habitat Home Buyer Selection Committee is responsible for reviewing applications in order to make recommendations to the Board of Directors for the selection of qualified homebuyers for the Habitat program. They also help with applicant orientation and ensurs that partner homebuyers understand and meet their partnership responsibilities throughout the process of becoming a Habitat Homeowner.
Our Development Committee ensures the affiliate has the resources to support its work and attain its goals. It reaches out to donors, nurtures donor relationships and engages the full Board of Directors in the development process.
